Our operations
ConocoPhillips is a 47.5 percent shareholder in the Australia Pacific LNG joint venture. It is also the operator of the Australia Pacific LNG facility in Curtis Island, near Gladstone.
We also have offshore exploration in Australia.
Australia Pacific LNG
Australia Pacific LNG is a joint venture between ConocoPhillips (47.5%), Origin Energy (27.5%), and Sinopec (25%) and shipped its first LNG cargo in January 2016 after nearly five years of development and construction.
Otway Basin
In December 2019, ConocoPhillips Australia announced its intention to take a 75 percent interest and operatorship of an exploration tenement in the Otway Basin through a farmout agreement.
