ConocoPhillips Australia plays a vital role in delivering natural gas to both domestic and global markets.

Natural gas powers homes, fuels industries, and supports the production of everyday goods critical for modern life. It is recognised as essential to the energy transition—because our energy system needs gas now and in the future.

We are the largest shareholder in Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG)1, and operate the APLNG facility on Curtis Island. APLNG supplies Australian domestic customers with natural gas and international customers with liquefied natural gas (LNG).

In addition, we are exploring the Otway Basin2 to identify new natural gas reserves to supply to the domestic market and support Australia’s future energy needs.

Across all that we do, we’re committed to responsible operations—safeguarding our people and the environment3.
