The global ConocoPhillips 2016 Sustainability Report, highlights our efforts to promote economic growth, a healthy environment and vibrant communities, now and into the future.
In Northern and Western Australia, we had several activities highlighted in the report including the launch of our new Women's Network, as well as a mention of the bird nest that was unexpectedly discovered in the telecommunications tower at our Darwin LNG facility and an update about the West Arnhem Land Fire Abatement program (WALFA) project. In Eastern Australia, our biodiversity offsets on Curtis Island is spotlighted. Our Indigenous Land & Sea Ranger Program in Gladstone is also mentioned as is the post-project survey conducted after completion of the Australia Pacific LNG facility.
In addition ConocoPhillips Australia’s 2007-2012 Sustainable Development Report includes information on safety and environmental performance, community investment, stakeholder engagement, our focus on employees and the company's economic and local content contribution to the Australian and Timor-Leste economies.
