ConocoPhillips Australasia strives to be recognised as a valued member of the communities in which we operate.
ConocoPhillips invests in programs that provide sustainable community benefits to our stakeholders, are consistent with our core SPIRIT values, and are aligned to our strategic business objectives.
We have a corporate selection process to assess community projects and regularly monitor and evaluate outcomes in order to ensure maximum benefits.
Community proposals are evaluated against a defined criteria, including: the project’s relevance; long term benefit to the community; high probability of success and measurable results; sustainability; opportunities for employee involvement; assurance of ethical practices; and level of visibility within the community.
ConocoPhillips has been pro-active within Darwin, Timor-Leste and Perth in seeking out opportunities/projects and establishing relationships within the communities in which we operate. All projects align with our assessment criteria and fall into one or more of our priority areas of: Education and Youth, Civic and the Arts, Health and Social Services and the Environment.
